WIN News Hobart & Launceston

A new partnership is aiming to put Tasmania on the map of a digital revolution… potentially changing the way farmers manage their land and do business. The state is the first in the country to be entirely mapped using new technology… And from the middle of the year… Landowners will be able to begin accessing a digital twin of their own property. Including waterflow modelling and weather and soil data. there is a drastic improvement in the clarity and confidence around the decision making process. and also creates integrity and transparency within the supply chain by understanding what a farmer has done within their landscape to drive an outcome that is both productive and sustainable. Under a ten year deal, agronomeye will be able to exclusively access the virtual tas data for individual farms… While the platform is also used by authorities to boost protection from natural disasters. Launceston’s premier food and wine event, Festivale, is again the toast of the town after huge crowds flocked to city park.
